The Schoolhouse will be closed on Sunday, June 22 and for
the rest of the summer. For groups or out-of-town guests wishing
to visit the schoolhouse during the summer months, please
e-mail or call the number on our Contact Us page at least two
weeks in advance to make arrangements for your visit.
Photos needed
The Historical Society is looking for photos of Major's Hotel. It
was once on the corner of Lake and Riverside Avenues. The
Society has only one photo of this hotel, taken just before it was
torn down. Anyone with any information or photos is encouraged
to call 201-804-2513 or use e-mail to contact the Society.
Former members of Lyndhurst Yacht Club sought
The Passaic River Boat Club is looking for former members of
the Lyndhurst Yacht Club to provide historical information about
boating on the Passaic River years ago. E-mail
